MY MEANING OF HOME

When some people hear the word home they sometimes think of a house or furniture. Even though that’s true, home is much more than that. What the meaning of home means to me is lots of things. If home were a touch, it would the touch of my mother’s comforting hands wrapped around me. If home were a smell, it would be the smell of a lovely winter breeze outside touching my hands and face. If home were a sound, it would be the sound of laughter from my family laughing at a game or movie. If home were a sight, it would be a wonderful sight to see. I would have my family beside me. If home were a taste, it would be the taste of my mother’s cooking. Thank you, habitat for humanity for giving homes to families in need.
