My Meaning of Home

MY MEANING OF HOME To me, a home doesn’t mean a house with four walls and a roof. To me, it doesn’t mean a place where you just sleep and eat. A home is a place where you are with the people you love and where you’re loved, a place where you feel safety and comfort, and a place you could always go to in times of need. When I go home after a tiring and long day, all I want is to be loved by my family and to talk to them. Love is when people are with you in the good and bad times, when you feel comfortable telling them anything, and when you're feeling down, they can bring you up. In my home, safety is not cameras, laser beams, or scary dogs. Safety in my home comes when my family protects me from scary thunderstorms and creepy sounds. Safety means being able to always be at ease and serene. To me, my home is my sanctuary. Wherever I am, Whoever I am with, no matter the time, my home is the place I will go whenever I am in need. My home is a special haven where I can let my guard down and be myself. To me, home is like a warm hug that wraps around me and makes everything feel better. Home is where the heart is.
