My meaning of home

What home means to me, for me it means having a roof over my head and having that thought in my mind that after school I have a cozy bed to sleep on That my mom worked hard for. After learning about the Holocaust and how the Jews were taken from their home I feel so blessed and lucky to have a home. I know that some people have different homes like apartments, houses and more. I love my home because I recently moved and my old house was in really bad condition. In my room we had to put a carpet on and when I would lift the carpet there were only a couple pieces of wood, now me and my mom moved to a townhouse and it’s so nice. I have my own room that has a floor, and we have an upstairs also we have a balcony. So I think everyone should not complain about where you live, be blessed that you have a roof over your head because some people don't. And be thankful that you have fresh drinking water and healthy food. Lastly, always thank your parents/caregiver for working hard to give you an amazing life.
