Me and My Home

Home has always given me love and happiness, whether it’s my old home in my hometown of North Bay, or my home for nearly seven years here in the Waterloo Region. My residence in North Bay or here, has always sheltered me and brought me warmth in the cold Canadian winters. Also it has cooled me down while I share ice cream with Dad. My home has always given me the light I use to see everything around me, including writing stories about courageous and resilient women. In my home we are given gas to cook the delicious meals that my Dad makes for me. Whether it’s in my hometown of North Bay or here in the Waterloo Region, my home has always meant much to me and I have always been grateful for it.
