The Meaning of Home

What home means to me is really special because I've spent the last 10 years in my home between two houses that I love and will cherish forever. Home is not just walls and a roof it is memories, joy on Christmas Day and gorgeous homemade meals on Thanksgiving. Home takes a long time to get used to but once you do, it becomes part of your life. Home is a place where I can sit by the fire with my brother and watch a movie. Home is a place where I can feel safe and be with my family. Home is where I stay, home is where I pray. Home is where I snuggle up on the couch with my dog. Home is where I can love and hug my friends and family. Home is not just a place - it's memories that you will hold onto for the rest of your life. I love my home because it has everything I need: family, friends and a roof over my head.
