Meaning of Home

Home means a place where you feel relieved, danger free, and loved. Home doesn’t have to mean like a building or a house, NO, THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE HUGE NO! It can be like what country you were born in and where you feel welcomed, because when some people approach their house, they don’t feel like going in and want to go somewhere else,,,,,,,,, that is because THEY DON’T FEEL WELCOME! Also, some people can’t tell the difference between a HOUSE and HOME, but there is a really big difference. Hi! I am Lilian. I am ten years old and I live in Ontario. I am really comfortable here. It is so nice to be with my family, and friends, where I feel safe and loved. Lots of unusual things happen here like the weather changes all the time but I am used to it by now I was born in Libya, but I am also Syrian I never saw Syria before but my Mom and Dad tell me it is a wonderful place and by the way how they describe it, I think it is the place I belong in and I also feel like Libya is my home too. For me, MY FAMILY is my home, laughing is my home and school is my home. For me, things that I like are my home when I say home, it reminds me of my mom’s warm hugs and the smell of my grandma’s cake and her fried eggs and warm tea with sugar. Home is very special to me, what do you think, is home important to you?
