What makes a house a home?

What do you think a house is, most likely you'll be thinking of four walls and a roof. But to me a house is a place of love and laughter filled to the brim with memories. But if those memories were taken away, the house would be empty and new. That's what I think the difference is between a house and a home. In a house, it seems bigger in a home you know where the tiniest crack in the wall is. in a house you don't know how to turn the shower on. In a home, you immediately turn the water to scalding hot. Even if your motto is bigger is better, I bet most people with big houses feel empty and sad most of the time I remember when I moved … I was around 5, and we had just moved .and I found this house very less welcoming than the last. After a few months I started warming up to the house, and it started to feel more like a home in conclusion a house is an empty new place with nothing that represents and distinguishes it from any other house with zero memories a home is full of traditions and messes that really shoes that its your house oops I mean home so that's my idea of what makes a house a home now that I have said my point of view. What do you think makes a house a home I would just like to thank # habitat for humanity. For giving me this chance to participate in this contest, thank you so very much.
