A question I was asked to answer in two weeks precisely
What exactly does home mean to me?
Does it mean Good smells, happy sounds or feeling free?
To me it really means the memories.
During New Years Eve memories of Sadness for the year that is slowly disappearing, memories of Happiness for a new year, new start, new feeling.
Valentine's day is filled with memories of love, faith and hope. Memories filled with hearts, gifts and glittery soap.
During Easter there are memories filled with excitement and happiness just waiting for the grand easter bunny. Easter is a time filled with memories of chocolate, festive eggs and the outdoors so sunny.
Canada day is the most special, I still remember those first fireworks beautiful, but startling as my little arms tremble.
Thanksgiving is the best with lots of fun filled memories in my hometown, with big meals of unlimited supplies of turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and more, and my favourite part is Pumpkinfest, a festival with candy, clothes and rides galore.
BOO! Did you hear that? It's Halloween! I have so much fun putting together costumes of every kind: Green, mean, lean, clean and Unseen.
Oh, Christmas is filled with festive cheer. But for me memories of constant celebration with food, fun, toys and beer.
YES a home is a place of memories and good feelings whether you're in Italy, China, America or Rome. Habitat for Humanity has a mission to give everyone a roof over their head because everyone deserves the feeling of home.
