Home is a Person

Home is not always a place, Home can be the look on someone's face. Home is coming home for a hug from my dad, Home is where I'm never sad. Home is where I see my mom, Home is where I'm always calm. Home is where I see my brother, I wouldn’t have any other. Home is where I play with my sister, And dance around all day with her. Home is where I get cuddles from my dog, And when we need a break, we sit down on a log. Home is where I go to my bed, And take a break and rest my head. Home is where memories are made, and where the sound of laughter and love will never fade Home isn't always four walls and a door, Home can be so much more. With my family near, I have no fear. Home is sharing, And home is caring. Home means so much to me, When I am there, I feel so free. Home can be a heart, Of someone who’s smart. Home is warm, And has no harm. Home can be a person. And that is the true meaning of home.
