Meaning Of Home

Everyone should have a house but not everyone has a home. A house is a roof over your head and the decorations. A home is all sentimental objects. It is the people, activities and foods that I love. A home has a lot of feelings, such as playing games such as video games and lawn games like football with my Uncle and my Dad. Home is also my favourite foods like Alfredo and Meatballs and spending time making stuff with my mom and my dad. Home also has some bad things like ups and downs and doing chores. Home is making different changes and adjusting to those changes. Home is the feeling of sadness and happiness. My home is a place where I can watch my siblings grow up. It's important to have a house but your family makes it a home. Habitat for Humanity gives families an opportunity to have a house and to turn it into a home. -Mason
