The Magic in our Homes

Each and every one of our homes has a hidden sparkle within. Whether that is the laughter and joy that fills the air with hope, or the family that creates a firm foundation for our house to stand on. As we help grow our community, our house becomes a shelter to shield us from the storm outside. Of course I want a house that throws the doors open with a bang. I want my house to be a place where everyone is welcome. When the community grows and our home expands, all of our neighbours become family. Then our shelter becomes a haven. It takes more than two hands to help out someone in need. A home is somewhere where there are no more limits to how high you can soar. You can finally call yourself free. But it takes even more to make your haven a home. Let go of those heavy feelings such as harmful secrets you can't tell anyone. Your family is there to help release those chains from your grasp. Believe in yourself and help others release those similar chains. You are only an inch away from the finish line. It just takes a heart full of love and hope to make it there. My house has been through many ups and downs. But with my family there beside me, we have made it to the finish. A family is like a blanket that wraps around you when you feel as blue as the midday sky. They are there in your hardest trials. There would be a lot less fights and wars if we treated each other as family. We would all be secure. To me, home means that you are loved and appreciated anywhere loved ones surround you. Your family is the spark that lights up the world wherever you go. You just need to help ignite it.
