Meaning of HOME

Everyone needs to feel that they belong. A home is a place where I feel important and belong. My home is my safe place. I love my family, my house and the atmosphere in my home. It is a necessity that everyone has a place to call home. Habitat for Humanity makes that dream possible. Family is memories you make and love. They can be sad, mad or fun memories. People make memories in lots of different ways like, playing board games, a game of cards, playing hide and seek and much more. Pets can be family too. There are lots of different pets like cats, dogs, birds and more. Pets are there when you need them. You may like the structure of your house or a certain room in your house. Your house is where you or your parents cook and eat. Sometimes you like the food or you don't. You can also enjoy cooking.Your house is where you sleep or share a room with your siblings. Habitat for Humanity ensures children have a home and a special room. The atmosphere of your house is important because you spend a lot of time in it, especially your bedroom. You want to make it feel like home to you. I like to do crafts, read and watch television. Every child should be able to do this too. Everyone deserves a home. Habitat for Humanity builds homes for people in need. A home is where memories are made, you share meals and you can hide away in your bedroom and play. I hope that Habitat for Humanity can build a home in our community for a deserving family. -Violet
