My Meaning of Home

By Zoe Watts Enjoy! February 23, 2024 Meaning Of Home Hello, my name is Zoe. I am from Surrey BC and I love my home. It makes me feel happy, safe, and calm. I feel happy in my home when me and my dad sit on the couch or in bed and read our favourite book, Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus. I feel safe when me, my dad, my mom, and my brother Eli watch movies in the family room with the door locked. What I love about my mom is she makes lots of super delicious foods. She also gives me giant bear hugs. What I love about my dad is that he reads to me and tells super funny jokes. What I love about my brother Eli is that he plays games with me and goes for bike rides with me. I feel safe with my family. I feel calm when I am in my room reading or writing while listening to Taylor Swift. In my room I have a loft bed, a desk, and a bookshelf with 60 books on it. There is no place I would rather be than in my home.
