What home means to me

There’s a difference between a house and home. A house is a building. A home is hope. No matter how big no matter how small, home is a place where you can cherish it all. Home is where I feel the cold breeze on my skin and the delicious smell of shrimp tacos and hear my family laughing as we watch t.v. As the days pass by, home is where I sleep, I learnt to walk I learnt to run I learnt the meaning of hope and the meaning of love. And on the darkest of nights, home is where love resides, and if you are ever thrown off beat, home is the place to be. It doesn’t matter who you are, or your beliefs home is welcome to everyone including me. Some may say there’s no difference between a house and a home, but I think there’s a colossal difference because a house is made of bricks and beams light fixtures and paintings a home is made of hopes and dreams. And Habitat for Humanity helps provide a home for those in need. In just a paragraph you could help someone. That’s why I love how Habitat for Humanity.
