Home is With My Heart

Home is with my heart, Home is not where you use a shopping cart, Home is where you laugh and play, A place far away, From sadness and anger. You may have to put a shirt on a hanger. But home makes your worries leave you so, That's why you’re sad when you need to go, When your heart feels fear, You will see your home open and near, And when you drop into your bed, Happiness creeps into your head. As the door opens wide, You feel the warmth deep inside, When you sit down on a chair, You feel like you have no care, Every hour you stay, All your problems wash away. Not all homes are the same, Some can be very lame, If you have a bad home, Tell someone in a kind tone, They’ll give your parents a strict warning, So when you wake up in the morning, You feel happy and amazing, You look up at the stars gazing. You think of freedom no more, Because now you have yours, But not everybody has a home, Because the economy cares more about chrome. So that's why I love Habitats for Humanities, And you should donate some small quantities, Please donate to the needy, And prove you are not one of the greedy.
