Why My Home is More Than a House

A home can be big or small but the love you put in it makes it bigger than it is. I taste the love and care in the amazing food that my mom made just for me. I taste the warm hot chocolate that my mom made on a cold winter evening. I feel the soft and warm cozy blanket that I share with my family which makes us feel warm in the cold winter air. I feel warm when I sit by the fire with all of my family that I love. I see my grandma knitting some clothes while my mom is getting food ready for dinner and nana is helping too. I see my sister so happy and bright while my dog is sleeping on the couch like a baby. I hear the sound of the tv so loud and bright. I hear the sizzling in the kitchen as my mom making her best homemade chicken. I smell the roses that my nana planted and the amazing cookies that she made. Even when we fight we still forgive and we still love each other. Home is way more than a house and better than ever just think of your home and see your family giving you a big hug like a warm sweater. That's why I know that my home and everyone else's home is more than a house and that's the place that everyone feels happy, safe and loved .
