Did you know the number of people experiencing homelessness in Canada is somewhere between 150,000 to 300,000. I am lucky to say I have a home. One where I feel loved, safe, and happy. Home to me is about feeling loved by my family. I feel loved by my family when they snuggle me. I also feel loved by my family when I do activities with them such as skiing, playing board games, and simply spending time with them. I can't explain how much they love me, and I can't explain how much I love them. This is one of the reasons I feel loved in my home. My home makes me feel safe. One of the reasons why I feel safe in my home is when my parents work so hard to put food on the table and I also feel safe because my parents are healthy and strong. I feel safe because my home is very secure. Not every child has this safe of a home like I do. I am very grateful to have a safe place to call home. I feel happy in my home. I feel happy in my home because of my family. One of the reasons why I feel happy is when my family gives me hugs and kisses. I feel happy in my home and I am so fortunate to have a home. Another thing that makes me happy is that I have the best life in the world and I’m so grateful because of that. I hope everybody has a home as loving, as caring, and as safe as mine. My family is the main reason why I love my home so much.
