Did you know 70% of homeless people are men and 30% are women. Crazy, right? But I am lucky enough to live in a home and today I will be telling you about it. Home is a place where I feel safe. I feel safe in my home when my parents defend me against people that hurt me. This makes me feel safe at my home because I know my family will always be there for me. I feel happy when I’m in my home. I feel very happy when my whole family plays volleyball with me in the backyard. My family playing volleyball with me isn’t just playing a sport, it is them spending time with me. I feel loved in my home. I feel love in my home when we snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. This makes me feel loved, because I know that they care about me. These are some of the reasons why I feel lucky to have a home, I hope others can experience this feeling too.
