Home is the place my family will always gather together Home is running around with my dogs barefoot through the grass Home is playing in the mud with my brother and not caring one bit Home is riding waves with my grandmother and the worm breeze through my hair Home is reading good books and cuddling with my brother Home is singing and dancing with my mom Home is planting flowers with my mom and grandmother Home is my mom’s shepherd’s pie right out of the oven Home means getting cozy with my brother under a warm blanket Home means waking up early and having breakfast Home means playing outside in the rain Home means laying on the grass watching the clouds go bye Home means listening to my brothers beautiful in the voice through the house Home means listening to my dogs barking all the time Home means squeezing the life out of my brother Home means drinking lots of water on a nice sunny day Home means baking yummy treats Home means waking up with only one sock on To me home is feeling safe knowing that my mom is protecting me To me home is sitting under a tree and making mud pies with my brother To me home is inspiring me to do different things To me home is drawing on paper and painting omissions canvases To me home is listening to basketballs bouncing on the court To me home is hanging out with friends To me is making hand shakes with Gen To me home is playing sports and meeting new people To me home is sleeping in on weekends To me home is going to my camper at my campground in the summer To me home Is laughing and giggling to my moms jokes To me home is felling the sensation of my moms fresh cookies To me home is playing outside with my brother To me home is creating buildings with my grandfather and stepdad To me home is listening to country music Home is like a worm summer breeze on the beach.
