Meaning of Home

Did you know that so many people today don't have a home? I am so glad that I have a home. When I think of home, I think of the place that comforts me. Home is where there are memories and laughter. Your home is your comfort place. In your home, you have everything you need. There are a lot of things that make my home a place of comfort, like the scrumptious food I get every day. It makes me feel safe knowing as long as I'm home, I will always have delicious food. A few other things that make my home my comfort place is how I am secure in it, like young birds in a dome-shaped nest. Nothing can hurt me. I can fail in my home and not be judged and that is why my home is my comfort place. You might see me giggling with my sister or dad if you come to my house. Home is where I can be myself, I wouldn't make the same kind of goofy jokes anywhere else or act the same way anywhere else. Do you have a comfort place? When you think of a home you might think of your house. No, a home is the memories shared in a place. I used to live in a pleasant house. After moving out, I returned to the same amazing home where my friends now live. When I entered the house, it still felt like my home because the memories remained. Do you have a memory you never want to forget? In conclusion, this is what a home means to me. A home is not a house, a home is the memories shared in a place that will stay there forever. A home is your place of comfort where you can be yourself without being judged. A home is a place where nothing can hurt you. A home is where you want to keep going back to. This is what a home means to me.
