The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you come home to the smell of cookies. Or the place where you come home to your parents waiting at the door Or maybe a place where you fight with your siblings or maybe play games with them A place where you are loved and you lov. A place where your family is sitting down for dinner or a place where you are helping out Maybe you are the only kid or maybe you're not the only one Home is a place with laughter and love Home is a place where you get food and water and a roof over your head and clothes on your back Home is a place full of memories. Home is a place where you are not alone Home is a place where you are always with your family A home is not the same as a house A home has all these special things A house is the generic structure just a frame, just a floor with a roof and a front and back door No matter where you are, you are always at home Thank you Habitat for humanity for donating money to kids and families in need.
