What Home Is To Me

Home isn’t just a place where you sleep, eat and shower, it's more than that home makes memories and where amazing magical things happen that don’t happen in every home like yours. Home to me is the comfort and love you feel when someone gives you hugs when something sad or scary happens in your life. Home is like teamwork, like working together as a family and achieving common goals. When you walk into your home after a long day of school work smelling the amazingness of bacon and eggs getting put on the stove almost ready to eat. Seeing your dog's long tail wagging super fast telling you that he's happy you're here and home. When you’re in the garage all night working on the sport you love with your father and brother. When you’re having girl talks, lighting candles and listening to music in the same room you always do. Making memories with your family and pets with the feeling of safeness, comfort and love like you can just be you. When you and your sister get to wake up your parents and brother at six in the morning getting ready for your favorite holiday about to start. When you are at school, all you can think about is what you're gonna do when you get home. When you are older now and have to move out the next house you go to won't still be the same as home Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping people in need that needs a home like you and me.
