What Home Means to Me

If home were a place where a new world began it would feel like many things just went away. Every time I see my home I feel peace no matter what is happening around me. When I enter my home laughter fills the kitchen table. When I enter the living room I hear tv shows and game sounds from when my siblings are using tech and also feel the heat from my fireplace. When I enter my room I hear my dad snoring in his sleep after he comes back from work and can smell the fresh foods getting cooked in the kitchen. When I go to eat dinner I taste the awesome foods. After dinner I taste the minty toothpaste when I brush my teeth before I go to bed. Then I feel the extremely soft covers in my bed. When I am in my bed I think about my arguments and when I think about the arguments I feel like all the arguments were resolved. Then I fall asleep. In the morning I get up out of the covers and feel the cold air go up my skin. So I put on clean clothes that smell extraordinary and then go brush my teeth and then head off to school if it’s a school day. And every time I leave my home I keep the peace that my home gave me so the rest of my day I can stay positive and not feel negative. That is what home means to me.
