Meaning Of Home

Home to me means family and joy. Home is my safe place, my home is cozy and strong. It blocks out the rain and snow. I trust the roof over my head when I’m home. I haven’t moved ever, which is why my home is special to me. When I come home from school, I love seeing my family. I jump on my bed, and read a book at night, in the morning, my dad makes me breakfast, sometimes I make my own breakfast. After a long day, I get a snack and watch a show. Home also is joyful, happy, and loving to me. My family comforts me when I’m sad. I cuddle my dog, he gives me kisses, I lay on my pillow as I fall asleep. I always hug my stuffies as well. When I’m stressed, I just sit on my couch, and eat a snack. I always enjoy it when friends come over. Before a friend comes over, I always clean. I make my bed, I put all my clothes away, and sit in the living room chair until they arrive. Home is my favourite place in the world. My bathroom is where I do my hair each and every morning. Sometimes I watch cartoons in my parents room. I love family movie nights, they’re always so cozy! I get my star onesie on and get tasty snacks from the cupboard. I have a special way to get food out of the cabinet. I stand up on my counter to get snacks and I jump down afterwards, it is scary, but I trust my counter to not break, it never has I don’t think it ever will, it’s safe. That’s what home means to me, what does home mean to you?
