What is a home?

By Jack M.In grade four. A home is a place where you can spend time feeling happy. You can play with your family or friends. You can have a lot of fun in your home you can have a party or a dance party. You might visit your grandma’s or grandpa’s home. You might visit your aunt’s or uncle’s home. Or you might just stay with your closest family or you might stay with your whole family. You can learn how to take your first steps in your home. You can learn your first words in your home. You can learn how to do your first writing. You can also how to spell long sentences in your home. You can learn how to help your family with chores in your home. You can lie down on your bed feeling thankful for your house and your family and happy that you have enough money to buy food and water. You can walk to the pet shop and buy your favorite pet that you see they can be part of your family too. Pets are fun to take care of. They are also fun to play with. This is why I love my home!
