What Home Means To Me

Home isn't just four walls and a roof, home is the people who you spend time with. My family is always there for me waiting right by my side. I feel right at home when I hear my mom's gentle voice whispering in my ear that "everything is going to be okay" while I tell her about my bad day at school between sobs, and I can tell that she is listening wit all her heart to everything that i'm saying. I love the feeling of when I ace my test, I can feel the encouragement and contentment in the air while my parents congratulate me and tell me what a great job I did. My family is always so influential and I always look up to them. i can still remember the day my dad taught me how to ride a bike, he just let go and I started to pedal all by myself. Now that I think of it, that day is just like life, your family cares for you until you come of age and leave home.
