What Home Means To Me

Home is where I can be myself. It is where I can be funny, where I can be sloppy and lazy and where I can be fun and playful. Home is where I feel safe. It is where I fall and get helped up by my family. It is where I can tell my parents if something scary is happening. It is where I know and trust everyone around me. Home is where I make memories, good or bad. Like the time we put mattresses on the staircase and slid down them, or the time my door knob fell off. Home is where you are surrounded by people that love you. It is where you are loved just the way you are, and never hated. Last but not least, home is a structure made of brick and wood, but mostly made of love.
