If Home was Described in a Story
What does home mean to me? If home were a game of hide and seek, it would be my safe place. My home, also known as my safe place, is a comfortable place that is warm and inviting
and is in a safe neighbourhood. If my home was described using the five senses, it would be
energetic and loud like the sound of my brothers screaming at video games. If my home was described as a feeling, it would be like the comfortable, perfect fit of my custom hockey stick
in my hand while skating on my rink outside and holding my hot chocolate. If my home was described as the seeing sense, I would see my parents every day. My personal favourite is the
taste of my parent's homecooked food. It is the best because it is made especially for me with things that I love. Sometimes, it is even different from the rest of my family. Finally, the smell of my mom's tacos are the best and it makes me hungry as soon as I smell them. My favourite thing in my home is my comfortable bed with my warm and cozy heated blanket...other than my parents of course. My second favourite is my rink outside in my backyard, then my dinner table
where I eat and talk to my family, and lastly my custom red Sync hockey stick. That is how I would describe my home. As a safe place, describing it with all five senses and what is in my home, my home is my favourite place to be in the world and I am so thankful for my home and everything in it.
