What Home is To Me

Home is not just wood and bricks and a roof over your head. It is not just a bed to sleep in and hot meals. Home is a place where I go to let our souls run free And where we can be who we want to be without judgment. Home isn't the warm comfort of sitting by the fireplace, Home is the warm comfort of being around those you love and care about. Home is where I have disagreements with my brother and some fights too, But it is also where we get to set aside our differences with each other. Home is like a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter day, It is caring and helpful and kind. It helps you know that there are people who look out for you and care about you. Home is different for everyone. Every home is unique in its own way. I feel at home when I am sitting with the people I love and my two cats. My Home Helps me forget about the outside world. It helps me live my life focusing on the good things in life. Home Is where cat hair is all over the couch. Home is like a flower when you first get into a home the flower is just a seed, But as you make more memories the flower grows and grows until it blooms. Through all the memories and love, My house is where the heart is.
