Beams and Walls Aren't All that Makes a Home

Few people have a house but almost everyone has a home. But what is a home without a house? I'll tell you. A home is a place where family gathers and memories are made, a place where you can feel safe, a place where you can play with siblings or pets. Home is where you wait for wishes to come true, where you grow up, a home is where you build hobbies like singing and drawing, home is where you're safe from negativity. What's a house? A house is made of beams, bricks, cement and wood. A home is so much more. For a house to be a home it needs a family to be happy and play, to be sad and mad to make memories in the walls of a house and then a home can come to be. A home is a place to depend on. Maybe you don't have a house with beams and walls but a home with love and happiness that you will always have. You can bake cookies in an oven in a house but you can make them with love in a home. What else do you do in a home? You make crafts for friends. You have dinner with your family, you can eat something hot after coming in from the cold outside in winter. You read books alone because you will never be lonely in a home. I love everything about my home! What do you love about your home?
