Home is seeing my family sitting at the table, talking about our days. Home is sitting at my desk reading my favorite Percy Jackson books. Home is hearing my dad's pan sizzling as he makes his infamous steak and smashed potatoes. Home is seeing my brother's car waiting to be driven. Home is feeling my soft pillow against my head. Home is playing music as I draw my perfect art pieces. Home is putting on my family's matching pajamas and hanging up our matching ornaments. Home is somewhere I go. Home is a feeling I feel. Across Canada between 150,000 and 300,000 are homeless. Habitat for humanity builds houses for the homeless. I am grateful that Habitat for humanity is building places for them, I am happy to know they will have a place to call home.
