This is My Home
This Is My Home
Your home may seem special
Maybe a place you and your family sleeps in
But my home is more
Not just a building with four sides and a roof
A place in my heart that only my family can fill
I see people surrounding me with persistence
I feel the warmth of my parent’s hugs
I taste our freshly baked macaroons right out of the oven
I hear my dogs barks as we walk through the door
I smell supper brewing on the stove
My home is more than a place with all my stuff in it
Home is anywhere as long as you have what matters
I can feel the warm and soft blankets that we share as we watch movies
I can hear the chuckles of my mom when the rest of us start dancing around
Those are the most iconic
I love my home
Especially the one in my core
Remember the little things
They mean the most in my home
