Home Home is not always a place with four walls and a roof. It’s a place where you laugh and goof. It’s a place where you feel safe and loved. It’s where you ride above. It’s a place where you have fun and play games. It’s where you see a lot of pictures with beautiful frames. It’s where I run around and dance, where I always get a second chance. Where me and my mom make goodies, it’s where my family watches movies. It’s where me and my sister get into fights but at the end of those nights, we’ll always be nice. It’s where I feel comfortable, where all my worries feel invisible. It’s a place where me and my family hug, where I scream when I see a bug. Where no one judges, where everyone changes. It’s where I grew up, it’s where my sister puts on makeup. Where my brother makes jokes, it’s where my dad drinks coke, where my mom calls her folks. Where I invite my friends for sleepovers, where we stay up all night to beat our record. It’s where I laugh so much, I start to cry. Where my mom makes a delicious cherry pie. Home can be anywhere, it can be at a parc, your school, your neighbourhood, your house, Canada or US. It’s somewhere your safe and sound. Where you have fun and run all-around.
