That's What Makes My House a Home

In my home I’m never scared because my family is always there. Love, laughter, joy and hope, that’s what makes my house a home. In my home I feel so alive when my dog sleeps by my side. In the morning, I smell my dad’s food, his blueberry pancakes put me in a good mood. In my home I have my own space, a place to run and laugh and play. A place where you can seek a place where you can speak, a place where you can sneak, that's what makes my house unique. In my home I can relax, I can sit by the fire and grab a warm snack. The scent of hot chocolate glides through the air while I sit on the carpet and forget all my cares. I relax on my grass on the long summer days, while I lift up my glass filled with delicious lemonade. Some are big, some are small, but all are unique, and all should be called...... HOME! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity. Myself and many others appreciate all that you have done for people in need, being at risk of losing a home or not having a home at all is a common struggle. Providing people with somewhere to live is no easy task. Not for the money but from the kindness of your hearts now that is a kind deed.
