What Home Means to Me

Some people think that home means a house, but they are two completely different things. A house is a structure that you live in. A home means somewhere you feel loved, safe and at home. A home can be anywhere in the woods, the country or in the city. A home is a place you want to be. You should be excited to come home every day after school. When I come home, I know there will be love, a diner that just came out of the hot oven, and a family to talk to about my day, my sister to play with me and a warm bed waiting for me to sleep in. A home is a place full of laughter and family. A place you make child-hood memories, a place where you grow up. And know matter where you are as long as you are with loved ones you will always feel at home. And that’s why everyone should have a place they call home.
