Home is filled with lots of emotion, It takes a bit, To notice the motion. Caretakers stumble, To meet all your needs. Maybe you fumble, They come right to your feet. Home is a place where you can be you! You rest and sleep there when you get the flu. Family and friends come over again, Your pets might run, now and then. When you have a bad day, And need to start again, Home is the place that will turn around your way. At home, People support, And always call you smart. Times may feel lonely, And the clock will move slowly. Those times don’t last, And soon you’ll have a blast! I hope you don’t think , Of home the same before. As many people don’t have one, And can’t even go to the store! Home can be anything! But no home is the same. Some homes have a familiar ring, And some are filled with games! When you read this, I hope you see, Home’s not just a house. But,a place where you feel you and I feel me!
