The Meaning of Home

If home was a sound If home was a sound it would sound like food boiling on the stove, making quiet crackling noises from a distance . It would sound like laughing and joy within the whole house. It would sound like people quietly sleeping within the entire house. If home was a smell it would smell like the candle my mom waves throughout the whole house. Home smells like the homemade food my mom nicely cooks. Home feels like the wet fresh morning grass. If home was a touch it would feel like the ball I kick in the fresh grass. It would feel like the steaming hot fireplace in my house. If home was a touch it would feel like my warm soft blanket which keeps me warm when I sleep If home were a sight it would look like the sun blazing bright into my windows. Mostly home feels like a fabulous place where all should feel safe and warm.
