Home Is More Than Special

Everyone should have a home. Home is more than special, it's fun, exciting and way more. Here, there everywhere home is where I care. Home is where I can express my feelings, love my family and be surrounded by smells. I love home. Home is more than special because at home I feel safe when my parents are there with me every step of the way. I'm very lucky to feel safe, like when I've had a bad day at school, I have somewhere safe to go. At home I feel joyful, cozy, warm and love living under a roof with people I love. I love the feeling of warm cookies or homemade lasagna just melting in my mouth when I get home from school or on the weekend. Home is more than special. Home is where I'm surrounded by beautiful smells everyday. I can smell the scent of candles burning, fresh cut flowers sitting on the dinner table. I can also smell fresh cookies baking or when it's early bedtime and dad brings food home after work. Home is more than special because I get to live with my family and spend so much special time making memories with people I love. My siblings like to play soccer and hide and go seek outside with me in our free time. My parents are very loving and supportive towards me and my decisions. My farm animals and my dogs make me smile when I'm sad or upset. It is my hope that every child has a place to call home. Home is more than special. I have so many important things at home that I think everyone deserves to have.
