What a Home Means to Me

A home to me is not a place, building, or house. A home is what is in your heart. When I think of a home I think of my family, my animals, hockey, being with the ones I love, and to be free. To be able to play and have fun feels like home. When I am home, I like the sounds of rain hitting the roof, and the sound of the fire when it crackles. I love camping and looking up at the stars it feels like home. Home is the memories of playing hide n seek when you were young or knocking your mom's vase accidentally. You can never remake the memories of a home. A home to me is not a place but a feeling.
