What Home Means To Me

Most people think of home as just a roof over their head. It is not all that. Home is a place where I walk through the front door from school to be greeted and loved. Speaking of being loved, we just got a new dog which makes my life even more enjoyable with more family to greet me at home. My parents always make me feel welcome in their arms. Home is a community where I feel supported by teachers, elders and classmates. This makes me feel at home when I'm with my friends making enjoyable moments! When I fall my friends will always be there to pick me back up, literally. I know that my friends will be there for me in any scenario. Home is where I am cared for in my mom and dads arms. For example, whenever they come into class to talk to my class about the human body. I feel cared for because not all parents come into class just for their child. I think you can see why home is a meaning of being supported, loved and cared for in my parents arms!
