Meaning of Home

Have you ever wondered what home means to you? Does it mean family or neighbours or even comfort because that's three things that home means to me which is the topic. In my writing, I will be telling you about what home means to me and a few ways to help homelessness. Firstly, home is amazing, but it would not quite be home without family. In my house I have seven other family members including dogs and they’re all amazing. Family is extremely important because they can help you in tough times. Siblings and cousins are incredible, not everyone has them though, but you have friends, like cousins and siblings you will also fight with your friends maybe not as much as cousins or siblings, but you'll have an argument every now and then. Maybe not bad fights like you might just be arguing who's better at a certain sport but some of them might be worse like you won't talk to each other for a month but then you'll be buds again but they will also help you and you'll become great friends with them. Some of my favourite moments were just goofing off with my siblings and friends and just having a blast. Parents are great as well. They feed you, shelter you and help you with almost everything you need help with. Secondly neighbours. Neighbours are the best. They invite you over for supper sometimes, just chat for a while, and overall be great friends. One time, for example, my neighbour's cat died which was a big deal because my neighbour had saved it from a burning building. Then it got sick and had to be put down. When they came back, they were sad, so we gave them some time and after a couple days we invited them over for a fire and talked. It didn't fix everything, but it helped them a bit. Lastly, I would say that comfort is important because comfort is amazing to have, but a problem some people have is trying to create comfort. But you can't create comfort, it just happens. Like for example if you've ever gone for a bike ride in the rain, came back, changed into sweatpants and relaxed it's amazing. But what is horrible is that homeless people don't get comfort. They’re always worried about having enough money or being kicked out of bus shelters or wherever they’re staying but there are many ways to help, like donating to charity, for example Habitat for Humanity. In conclusion I told you about family, neighbours and comfort and a few ways to help homelessness I hope you have put some thought into what home means to you and just be thankful that you have a home and neighbours, family and comfort because not all people get that. Thank you and have a good day.
