The Meaning of Home

Home is not just a place to stay, but is a loving memory that’s there every time of the day. Home is a place to laugh and play, where we are taught to learn from our strays. Home is different from a house, with four walls and a roof but nothing else. Home is a place where wishes are sent, and we prance around the fire until the end. The smell of food as I enter my home, would bring joy to my family no matter where they have come. The clink of china, what a wonderful sound, it’s accustomed in a home but not a house. A house can crumble unlike a home, it will stay forever upheld. Nothing can hurt it no matter how hard they try, home will be home and it will never pry. Home is a place filled with love and care, and lots of people to support you every step till it’s fair. Home is a place filled with laughter and joy, where even the biggest arguments end with rejoice. Home can be big. Home can be small. Home can be any size if it matters at all. Home is a place where I wish to stay, even after the biggest squall it will lead to a way. Home is not just a roof over my head, home is much more complicated if it can be read. That place is home and cannot be changed, after a storm it will still be your base, where loved ones are and memories take place, it’ll be there forever no matter the case.
