What does home mean to you?

What does home mean to you? To me home means laughter, giggles, falling asleep on my mommy’s lap while watching a movie, working together to put ornaments on the tree, and hugs. Lots and lots of hugs. Most of all, home means family, where you feel safe and warm, and where you have made memorie=s, that’s home. A home is where loved ones are, and where you have had some wonderful times. In my home me and my mom bake cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies, we tell stories and give each other lots of hugs. Sometimes my aunts and cousins come to our home. I love playing with my younger cousin Adam. We play soccer and play with stuffed animals. A house is walls, a roof and a door, but home is so much more. I am very grateful to Habitat for Humanity for building people houses that one day will be their home.
