Home Is My Family

Home is about the people you are around, and the amazing people you have thankfully found. Home is the love shared inside, and the amazing people you celebrate with pride. It's about the laughter and giggles, even though there might be a few fights and rough nights. Home is hearing my mom sing when she's working, and watching my dad as he's cooking. It is hearing my brother play his video games, and going to watch him play a hockey game. Home is when you walk through the front door after playing outside, and my mom gives me a big hug with pride. Home feels like the sun shining on my face, and I wouldn't want to be any other place. It feels like a rainbow on a sunny day, where you can go outside to play. It's the happiness you feel surrounded in, like when you know you’ve been forgiven for your sin. Home is when I come home from school and my mom greeted me with a big hug that makes me feel so cool. Home feels like my nana and my sister coming to see after a long day, they make me feel so loved no matter what they say. When I walk through the front door it reminds me of flowers and not people being sour. I know I'm at home when I smell my moms favorite candle, my brother's hockey wax, my dads cologne and the smell of my papa's cooking. All of this stuff makes me know I'm not alone, so I am so thankful for my amazing home.
