Home: The best place in the world

Home is not just a roof and some walls. Home is not just some rooms and a hall. Home is much more than just a structure. Home is where we keep our culture. Home is a place where we smile and love. It is where our family fits in like a glove. Home is where we find our hearts, with memories and pictures of delightful art. Home is full of enjoyment and laughter. Where my family and I have fun together. Home is where we share stories and talk. Where love will find us wherever we walk. When I am home I feel safe and happy. I feel loved and cared for, never unhappy. Home is where we learn and grow. Where we find the right path among rows and rows. Home is where I learn from my mistakes, and persevere with every step I take. During the moon festival we eat mooncake. Red bean and pineapple, all different tastes! On Halloween nights, we make Jack-o-lanterns It’s so relaxing, for the fire to burn. To me home sounds like doors going creak, or the roar and laughter of my sister and me. To me home smells like my mothers crisp chicken wings. Where she cooks our toasty meals for us to gather and eat. I love my home and my community, I support my family and so can you.
