WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME!

A home is very different from a house. A house is just a place you live. A home has everything you love like family, pets, and many more. One things that makes me feel at home is my dog. Her name is Sadie. She is 12. My mom and dad got her only a few months before they had me. She has been through a lot because when I was 2, my dad died from cancer. Then when I was 4, my mom got remarried to a guy named Michael. He had 2 daughters named Caitlyn and Caileigh. They all make me feel at home. When I was 1, my dad took me to get my first doll and now that is my most special toy. In my house, is my bed, kitchen, couch and many others that will most likely stay when I move. But everything that makes you feel at home will hopefully come with you when you move. A home can be more than one place. One of my homes is my grandparent's house. They always make me feel at home. Another one of my homes is my cottage in PEI. The thing that makes me feel at home there are my friends. Scarlett is my best friend forever. A home is a safe place that not everybody has. If you do have one, cherish it. I try to. And that is what home means to me.
