Home is Where...

Home is where you are comforted by love. It is where you share stories at the dinner table, while you dig into delicious food. It is where you laugh and play games, but also where you have the space to do whatever you want. Home is where you are surrounded by those who love you, and those you can count on to be there for you when life gets tough. Home is where I argue with, but still love my brother. It is where we celebrate Diwali with joy. We gather around, and eat sweets, and we honour the gift of light and colour. Home is where I giggle and make memories with my friends, whether it is doing makeovers or watching movies. From food to games, space and love, sibling rivalry, celebrations and friendship, I know I can always depend on my home to be the place to cheer me up.
