Home is a Feeling

For me a home is a place where you feel safe and loved. Those feelings are like flowers growing until they are fully grown. Those feelings grow in your heart and in everybody’s hearts. Home is the taste of the cheese of my hot pizza on my tongue, the smell of the fresh oven-baked chocolate muffins. Home is the sound of loud music playing, the smell of my brother eating candy that he snuck into his room. Home is where I see my homework waiting for me on my desk. Home is the touch of my panda stuffed animal. A home is very different from a house. A house is a plain word that we use, a house is a structure. Whereas, a home is in my heart and where my loved ones are. Home is a feeling of love. Home is where I feel free to do what I want without being scared. Home is where you can express yourself without being scared or worried to be laughed at. I hope one day everybody has a safe home. If ever you see someone homeless, act and help them. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, homeless people are given homes. I hope that when you grow up you do an action to help people that are in need of a home. If your action is to work for a non-profit organization that will help homeless people, I hope that action happens. If your action is to raise money to give to people with none or give them clothes in winter that would be so nice. The people will be so grateful for your action.
