Home is always in my Heart

To me home feels like being smothered with love by the people around you, it is where I can be free and safe, and it is a safe place where I can express my emotions freely. Home feels like being loved with my family. I feel loved the most when they give me hugs and kisses every day. I can feel my moms soft cheek when giving me a goodnight kiss. I can feel my dad and sisters warm body when giving me a goodnight hug when it is time for bed. Home is a place where I can be free and safe. I feel free at home. I don't have to be perfect and neat. I don’t have to be polite when eating my moms cooking. I can enjoy it as loudly as I like! Home is a safe space to express what you are feeling. When I am home I don’t have to pretend that I am okay. I know I can cry, be mad, or be happy, because I am home and safe with the people I love. For me, home feels like being smothered with hugs and kisses from loved ones, feeling free and safe, and expressing any emotion I need to get out. No matter where I am, I always know that home is in my heart.
