What Home Means To Me

Home is not just a place of shelter, it's a place around a fire where love and kindness is shared. Home feels like a place where I feel comfortable. My home looks like our family Christmas photos. Home smells like a freshly baked cake, right from a warm oven. Home is where you should feel loved and protected. Home tastes like my mom's delicious brownies. My home sounds like my dog panting on a hot summer day. Home is a place where your family gives you wise words to help you out in a bad situation. Home is where my dad teaches me about doing my school work and how to make good money when I grow up. Sometimes when I get home I just sit on the couch and listen to my parents talk about their day and how they grew up. Home is one place like no other. My home is not a house but my mother, father and brother. I could have a house across the world and it would not be home without them .
